The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has claimed that preparations are already underway to rig the 2027 general election.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Morning Brief on Friday, Abdullahi said the ADC will continue to raise the alarm to ensure Nigerians and the global community are aware of the alleged plot.
He warned that the opposition would not remain silent in the face of troubling developments in the political landscape.
Abdullahi also alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government is uneasy about the opposition and prefers that its decisions go unquestioned. He said: “The election of 2027 is all set to be rigged, and we will not stop saying that. We are not giving up. We have a voice, and we will use it.
“What you see about this APC government is that they seem to be irritated, that there is opposition at all, they seem to feel like, who are these people asking us questions. They would rather we don’t speak at all, they would rather nobody asked questions.”
